I like to employ a high-intensity strength training program with the majority of my clients. Of course, the type of training depends on the individual client. If fat loss is your goal, then we’ll use a fast-paced workout with lots of supersets and short breaks. If adding muscle is your primary concern, then we’ll utilize compound movements with smart accessory work. For conditioning, I like to switch it up and use non-traditional implements such as ropes, boxes, kettlebells, and sleds.
I decided to become a trainer because I have a passion for fitness. I played many different sports as a youth, and as I got older, I realized how much I enjoyed training for those sports. In college I began weight training on a daily basis and fell in love with it. I enjoy all styles of training and I enjoy helping others discover what a healthy lifestyle can do for them. I have experience training for different types of competitions such as triathlons, obstacle course races, and powerlifting meets. I use this personal experience, along with my knowledge of exercise science, to help clients reach their personal fitness goals.
