Last year, YMCA of Greater Brandywine updated and revised the program registration process to allow more time for members and program participants to register online and in branch for programs. See the Frequently Asked Questions below for more details.
What are YMCA session programs and when do they run?
YMCA session programs run six times a year for seven weeks each. The sessions include Early Fall, Late Fall, Winter, Early Spring, Late Spring, and Summer (note that our summer session is usually shorter in length). Session programs include offerings such as swim lessons.
What are YMCA academy programs and when do they run?
YMCA Academy programs run for the full school year (September-June) and include programs such as gymnastics and dance.
When is registration?
Registration opens for everyone several weeks prior to each seven-week program session to allow everyone more time and flexibility to plan and register when it is convenient. Registration for Academy programs open on the same date as session programs.
Please visit our registration calendar to know when the latest session program opens.
Where can I find a schedule of session programs and registration dates?
You can find a schedule here.
Do YMCA members still receive discounts on YMCA programs?
Absolutely. Members will continue to receive the member rate for programs.
Who do I contact if I have questions?
Please visit or call the member services desk at your local branch.
