What a year 2018 was! More than $3.4 million dollars in financial assistance was provided to 11,745 Chester County residents to ensure they had access to all the YMCA offers. Close to 4,000 children enjoyed YMCA summer camp. More than 8,600 seniors enjoyed YMCA memberships. And those are just a few of the highlights.

While the numbers are exciting, hearing the impact motivates us to want to do even more. One mother shared, “My son would not be able to go to summer camp without financial assistance from the Y.” Not being able to provide your children with quality childcare and enrichment experiences is the reality for many of our neighbors.

We continually work to change that at the Y, and it is our passionate staff, dedicated volunteers, committed members and generous donors who make it possible, while also creating a place where all are welcome.
