The Montessori method of education values the human spirit and the development of the whole child — physical, social, emotional and cognitive. In our mixed-age classrooms, children experience interactive learning in an environment carefully prepared by an educator who is sensitive to each child’s individual needs and abilities.

Children choose their activities, and discover language, mathematics, science, art and music, using materials developed by Dr. Maria Montessori and supplemented with additional resources. This educational environment fosters respect, cooperation, order and choice within limits. The school’s peaceful and non-competitive atmosphere also promotes strong character and values.

• Extended care available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Full-day care available on most West Chester Area School District holidays
• Swimming lessons, yoga, gymnastics, Zumba, music and
