Pickleball is beloved, in part, because of its strong social ties. People who play together, stay together!
We love the social aspect of the sport and want to provide opportunities for our members to mix and mingle on and off the courts. Check out some of the ways that we are building community through pickleball.
Social Sundays | YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown
- Pickleball Club | 2PM - 4PM
Two Sundays per month, Pickleball Club meets at Pickleball Center to play and socialize. We host a pickleball clinic on the 2nd Sunday of the month and social play on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
- Tournaments & Matches | 2PM - 4PM
When Pickleball Club is not in session, our team at Pickleball Center has fun events planned for you - King of the Hill Tournaments, DUPR Matches and more. Visit the Welcome Desk at Pickleball Center for details.
- Round Robin Play | 4PM - 7PM
Join us each Sunday evening at the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown for skill-level round robin play. Each week, we'll feature a different skill level. Visit the Welcome Desk at Pickleball Center for details.
Club Championship Tournament | Apr 5-7
Hosted at the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown, this members-only, indoor tournament is based upon level of play and age. Must hold an active membership to the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown to register.

Main Line Classic Tournament | May 18-19
Hosted at the Upper Main Line YMCA, this fun and competitive outdoor tournament is based on level of play and age. This tournament is open to all, YMCA members and non-members.
Pickleball Clinics | Ongoing
In addition to hosting introductory pickleball clinics on a regular basis, our certified Pickleball Pros offer specialty clinics. Topics include, Pickleball Strategy, Kitchen Defense/Offense, Serves and Returns and more.
