Join University of Delaware professor and NY Times best-selling author Doug Tallamy for his talk “Homegrown National Parks.”Upper Main Line YMCA, Johnson Room (located in the Carriage House), Saturday April 26, 1:30 to 3pmCost, $10 per personHomegrown National ParkOur parks, preserves, and remaining wildlands – no matter how grand in scale – are too small and separated from one another to sustain the native trees, plants, insects, and animals on which our ecosystems depend. We can fix this problem by practicing conservation outside of wildlands, where we live, work, shop, farm, and ranch.

Luck of the Draw Pickleball Challenge

Join our pickleball community in raising money for the Jennersville Y’s Annual Campaign! On Friday, April 11th, we will be running a Luck of the Draw Challenge. Each player will draw a playing card to determine their partner in each round. Each match lasts 10 minutes, and then team points are tallied and recorded for each individual. The player with the most points at the end of the challenge wins! This event is open to all skill levels; players will be divided by skill level if there are enough participants.Minimum $30 donation at the door. Doors open at 2pm. Play begins at 3pm.
