STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT is a 45-minute full-body progressive strength workout. During this demo class, we will focus on setting a strong foundation of good technique within a traditional compound strength training structure. SilverSneakers Circuit class focuses on improving cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and functional movement patterns. Offering standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body resistance work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball.
Balance is a 30 minute course that utilizes light stretching and strength training aimed at improving balance and muscle coordination. These are gentle, beginner exercises for those who want to increase flexibility and proprioception in order to reduce the risk of falling.
