A quality pre-kindergarten experience can help give children a strong start in school and in life. PA Pre-K Counts, established by the Pennsylvania Department for Education, provides free full-day pre-K programs for children ages 3 – 5 years old throughout Pennsylvania.

Pre-K Counts at Jennersville YMCA
What to Expect of Pre-K Counts at the Jennersville YMCA
- Teachers with the education and expertise to teach young children.
- A curriculum that will help your child grow academically and socially.
- Lunch and snacks are provided during the day.
- Regular review of your child’s progress to choose the best teaching strategies as well as prepare them for a smooth transition to kindergarten.
- The program runs from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
- We will follow the school calendar for the Avon Grove School District and will be starting on Monday, August 25, 2025.
- Wrap-around care is an additional charge. Financial Assistance would be available.
- Students who qualify for CCW are automatically eligible.

- We will follow the school calendar for the Octorara School District which started on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Adolescents learn to be medically responsible, creative and attentive babysitters. View available babysitting classes or dive deeper and receive your certification with CPR and First Aid classes - which gives you the information and skills you need to help adults, children and infants during breathing, cardiac, and first aid emergencies.
