ForeverWell - Connecting to Community
At the Y, our mission is to strengthen community through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. And when we say all, we mean it! All abilities. All cultures. All financial means. All ages.
When people come together and have a sense of belonging, they live a better-quality life - and are healthier inside and out. We are proud of our mission of inclusivity - and our ForeverWell Program is just one of the ways that we bring our mission to life.
What is ForeverWell at the YMCA?
ForeverWell events and programs are specifically for members who are ages 55 and up. ForeverWell groups, clubs and events ensure that members continue to belong, grow and thrive - no matter their age.
Sound interesting? Give it a try. We'll help ensure that you are...
- Forever Belonging
Everyone has a talent, passion or hobby to contribute. We love to foster connection around common interests. We invite you to join in any of our clubs and groups - or share your passion by starting a new club.
- Forever Learning
You're always the right age to learn something new. We learn about skincare, social/emotional wellbeing, how to use technology, financial planning - and much more! Join us for an upcoming event.
- Forever Moving
Whether you prefer to do a lap around the couch or around the track, it is important to keep your body moving. Our ForeverWell team offers a variety of opportunities to encourage you to get active - while respecting your body's limits. Try one of our activities.
Not sure where to start?
Join us for Senior-Palooza on Tuesday, September 5 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. You'll have a chance to meet the ForeverWell Coordiantor at your home branch while enjoying snacks, ice cream, swimming and more. You are welcome to bring guests!
