This program is great for adults with disabilities or unique needs who are looking to improve balance, coordination, and flexibility, increase strength and heart health, gain confidence, or to promote a healthier lifestyle, in a group exercise setting.
In a fun and welcoming environment, children with diverse abilities will develop their fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and mobility through the art of movement and dance. Students will learn the basic fundamentals, build confidence, make new friends, and have a creative outlet to express themselves. The adaptive dance curriculum was developed by Ms. Claire Jones, who is a certified adaptive dance teacher through the Boston Ballet.
In a fun environment, children with disabilities will be introduced to basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, and many other popular athletic activities. This program is a wonderful way to spark a child's interest in sports while being on a team that builds confidence and self-esteem, while improving motor skills and coordination in a low-stress environment.
LEGO's have been at the core of creative play, exploration, and learning for decades. This program is open to children with developmental disabilities and will focus on design elements, fun play, and motor function. The program will promote inclusivity, imagination, and creativity.
