Wood Turtle
Meet the Wood Turtle
These turtles are named after their shell which bears a striking resemblance to the bark of a tree. To find food, they tap on the ground and trick worms into thinking it is raining. The worms come above ground and the turtle gets a tasty treat! They have also been known to climb over six-foot chain link fences!
