Arts & Humanities Summer Camps at the YMCA

The arts bring your senses alive with the joy of dance, the colors of paintings, the taste of great food, the sounds of music and the outlets for creativity. There are MANY summer camp options for your artist-in-training, from art in a variety of mediums, cooking, dance, music, theater and more!

Here is a small sampling of options for your artist:

• Arts Camps – Each week focuses on a different medium in this art camp. Offerings include cartooning, clay, watercolors, film and more. Or kids could try Pottery Camp!
• Cooking Camps -Come learn skills in cooking and baking with us in this fun-filled cooking camp. 
• Nature Camps - Campers can learn how to take care of our animals at UMLY or learn how to turn their thumb green by plant in our gardens. 
• Cheer Camps – Campers learn the skills needed to lead the crowd and support the home team. 
• Dance Camps – Campers love this sassy jazz camp, where they learn jazz techniques and a few sassy moves!
• STEM and Science Camps - Discover the wonders of science through fun experiments, robotics, building projects, and group collaboration. 
• Music and Art Camp - Campers will participate in music and movement games, as well a create fantastic works of art! There's also options for Short Film Camp. 
• Theater Camps – Campers experience acting, singing and dancing culminating in a production for family and friends.
