STRONG Challenge

START STRONG - Make strength training a regular part of your routine by completing a minimum of 2-3 strength training workouts per week for 10 weeks (25 workouts total).

We're all human and we all have mental health. Prioritizing mental health is important in today's world. Using a Mindfulness practice provide us with tools for resilience, stress relief, and inner confidence. At the Y we provide a variety of options to assist you in this practice.

Husk Nutrition

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine partners with HUSK Nutrition! Customized, one-on-one nutritional counseling with a Registered Dietitian. Covered by most health insurance plans.

Health Management & Disease Prevention

About half of all adults – 117 million people - have one or more chronic conditions, such as arthritis, kidney disease or diabetes. The YMCA of Greater Brandywine partners with physicians and health care providers to refer patients through a confidential referral process.

Adaptive Programs

Everyone deserves a place to belong. At the YMCA of Greater Brandywine we're expanding our adaptive programs, which provides a unique experience with an emphasis on sports, social interaction and fun for our community with special needs.

East Chestnut Fitness

Get Strong with East Chestnut Fitness! All workouts are based on functional movements and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life.

CPR and First Aid Courses

Ellis Education Services CPR/First Aid/AED gives you the information and skills you need to help adults, children and infants during breathing, cardiac, and first aid emergencies. Taught in a blended learning environment: online training plus classroom skill work.
