Dave Mullin serves as the Executive Director of the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown, the first YMCA facility devoted to the popular and growing sport.
Dave joins the YMCA of Greater Brandywine, bringing twenty years of experience with YMCAs throughout the region. Most recently, Dave served as an Executive Director at the YMCA of the Chesapeake in Maryland. Prior to this, he served as an Executive Director with the Greater Philadelphia YMCA.
In addition to extensive experience with all aspects of YMCA programming, Dave has a passion for all aspects of health and wellness. His background is in Health and Exercise Science, and he is a lifelong sports enthusiast.
“I have played sports my entire life and am excited to join the team at the Pickleball Center,” he comments. “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in my community while also working in a one-of-a-kind environment within the Y.”
“Across all of the programs we offer, my favorite is the Intro to Pickleball clinics. They are the gateway into this great sport – and allow members to become part of a strong social community. I love that pickleball is inclusive, and so is the Y!”
In November of 2024, Dave was promoted to the Regional Executive Director where he will support our Coatesville YMCA, Lionville Community YMCA and continue to lead the YMCA Pickleball Center in Downingtown.
Dave holds a degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Delaware. Outside of the Y, he enjoys going out to dinner with his college sweetheart (aka his wife) and their two daughters. You’ll also find Dave and his dad cheering on the Eagles as season ticket holders. Go Birds!
