Gift Card Donation | By December 15
We are collecting donated gift cards to large retail outlets (Target, Amazon, Walmart, etc.) at any branch location to support children who are on our Holiday Angels waitlist. Gift Cards can be given to the Holiday Angels Lead at your branch through December 15. Visit the Welcome Desk at your branch for details.
Another Way to Support Local Families
💗 We are accepting donations of wrapping paper and tape at all of our branch locations.
💗 Donate an experience for youth in Chester County - from swimming lessons to gymnastics classes - donate directly to youth development right where you live.
Holiday Angels Sponsor Sign Up | CLOSED
- UPDATE - We are thrilled to announce that we have found sponsors for all 1,200 children in our Holiday Angels program. Thank you for your generosity! If you want to help families on our Holiday Angels waitlist, we are collecting gift cards through December 15.
- To sponsor a child this holiday season, visit the front desk at your local YMCA of Greater Brandywine location. Once you sign up, you can shop from your child's wish list and return purchased items to your YMCA branch by December 4.
- For those looking for support, unfortunately, the deadline to apply for the program has passed. This program relies on community sponsors and at this point, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate your request. Please contact your local branch to inquire about potential space remaining for Holiday Angels.
- Registered participants will be notified by phone or email the week of Monday, December 11 when their gifts are ready to be picked up.
Thanksgiving Baskets | CLOSED
Thank you for your support for the program this year! Between November 1 and November 10, you have helped supply over 500 baskets to the community. Annually, the YMCA of Greater Brandywine provides hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to families in our community through the generous support of our members and supporters!
