💗 Threads of Warmth The YGBW and Autodealers CARing for Kids Coat Program: A collaboration to provide young children in the community and in our care with a new coat.
     

    💗 Bags of Gratitude (previously known as the Thanksgiving Baskets Program): An in-kind donation outreach initiative where YMCA and community members anonymously purchase and pack a YMCA bag filled with shelf-stable food items and a $25 Grocery Gift Card for participating member. BONUS: Any YGBW member who donates a bag of gratitude will be entered to win a free month of membership. Check with your welcome desk for details.

    💗 Gifts of Joy (previously known as the Holiday Angels Program): An in-kind donation outreach initiative where YMCA and community members anonymously purchase new individualized gift items for participating local children. If we are unable to accommodate your wish list items, you will receive a Gift of Cheer Kit, which will include a $25 gift card to a large retail outlet, a new board game, a new craft, and a new cozy blanket.

    In 2022, we served 333 households (775 children), with the support of over 500 donors.  
    In 2023, we served 561 households (1,273 children) with the support of nearly 800 donors.

    Important Dates to Remember:
    1. Threads of Warmth - New hats, scarves, and gloves for kids collection opens September 15, due October 15.
    2. Bags of Gratitude shopping bags and lists available October 1, due November 1.
    3. Gifts of Joy family sponsor forms and Gift of Cheer Kits available November 1, due December 1
