Upper Main Line YMCA to Host International Youth Tennis Qualifier Tournament
USA Playoffs Lacoste Series to take place June 26 – 28 in Berwyn, PA
BERWYN, PA – The Upper Main Line YMCA (UMLY) will host the USA Playoffs Lacoste Series, an international youth tennis qualifier tournament, for players 14 and under between June 26 – 28, 2021 at their Berwyn, PA campus.
With a 54-acre campus featuring 26 tennis courts, UMLY was asked to join a group of locations in the United States to host this tennis tournament, placing it in company with six of the most elite tennis facilities in the nation.
The USA Playoffs Lacoste Series invites boys and girls ages 14 and under to register. The winners of the series events, along with ten boys and ten girls, will have a chance to represent the United States at Les Petits As – Le Mondial Lacoste in France, an elite international tournament that is considered the world championships for junior players. While hosting the playoff series ranks the UMLY facility in the top of the nation, the YMCA mission and the program philosophy seeks to encourage anyone interested to pick up a racquet.
