Goodwill Keystone Partners with YMCA of Greater Brandywine to Host E-Recycling & Donation Drive

All in the Community are Welcome at this Free Event on July 12

WEST GROVE, PA – The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW) and Goodwill Keystone are partnering to provide a free, drive-up Electronics Recycling and Donation Drive on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event is open to the public and will take place at the Jennersville YMCA, located at 880 W. Baltimore Pike, West Grove, PA 19390. Registration is encouraged.

Keep Toxic E-Waste Out of Landfills
Community members are invited to drop off their unwanted electronics for safe, responsible recycling – keeping harmful materials out of landfills and the environments in which we live. Goodwill Keystone accepts the following electronics in any condition: laptops, desktop computers, monitors, printers, gaming consoles, DVD players, small kitchen appliances, and more. Goodwill Keystone ensures that all e-waste items are processed through its certified recycling partner, Reworld, and will sell donated electronics in store to support mission services, when possible.

“We are happy to provide our neighbors with a convenient way to clear out clutter, while protecting the environment and supporting a great community organization,” said Nic Legere, District Executive Director for YGBW. “We’re proud to work with Goodwill Keystone to make this drive accessible to everyone. We encourage all in the community to take advantage of this free service – or lend a hand at the drive by volunteering. We love to have members of the community join us in service.”

“Goodwill Keystone is thrilled to partner with YGBW to bring this free electronics donation and recycling opportunity into the West Grove community, meeting people right where they live,” explained Bruce Brockman, Vice President of Sustainability, Operations, and Logistics at Goodwill Keystone. “In only one year of Goodwill Keystone’s Free Electronics Recycling Program, we were able to responsibly recycle 2 million pounds of electronics, keeping these items out of landfills. We’re proud of this successful sustainability initiative and are always evaluating additional ways to make a positive environmental impact in central and southeastern Pennsylvania.”

One Stop Drop – Non-Electronic Items Welcome
During the E-Recycling and Donation Drive, Goodwill Keystone will also accept donations of gently-used clothing, household items, toys, and more. Members of the community are encouraged to use this opportunity to clear out any unwanted items all at once.

“People are busier than ever, so to make this drive-up event even more convenient, we will also accept non-electronic donations on July 12,” continued Brockman. “If you cannot make this one-stop-drop event, find a Goodwill Keystone store and donation center near you to donate your items, including electronics.”
