Alexa Fulton, Upper Main Line YMCA to Attend U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming
U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming to include 1,383 of America’s fastest swimmers
Berwyn, PA – Alexa Fulton of the Upper Main Line YMCA will attend the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming held June 4 – 7 in Omaha, Nebraska. Traditionally held every four years, the Olympic Trials are the largest and most prestigious swimming event in the U.S.
“We are extremely proud to have Alexa Fulton representing the Upper Main Line YMCA at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming event,” Head Coach, Todd Conrad said. “This honor reflects the culmination of hard work she has put into training. Because of that hard work and commitment, Alexa can say she is one of the fastest swimmers in the country.”
The event will be broadcast across live across NBC, NBCSN, the Olympic Channel and online at usaswimming.org.
Athletes successfully qualified for this event by swimming fast and reaching impressive time standards. As of May 28, a total of 638 female and 745 male athletes had qualified across the country. A complete list of qualifiers can be found on the USA Swimming website.
The YMCA offers private and group swimming lessons for all ages and abilities as well swim teams and aquatics-focused summer camps.
For more than 45 years, the UMLY swim team has provided young athletes the opportunity to compete and excel based on their talent and dedication, while building healthy and positive relationships with their coaches and teammates.
