Woodworking Camp 2 - UMLY - 2025

Campers learn wooden building and construction techniques and how to use a variety of hand tools as they work on individual projects (which go home when complete) and a collaborative, large-scale group build (which stays). Individual projects will be chosen by campers based on interest from a range of available plans. The large group projects could include an 8'x10' storage shed or a modern outdoor playhouse. In the afternoon, campers will take a break from building for a rec swim.

Build It STEM Camp AM - OLY - 2025

Bricks, blocks, sticks and more. Young engineers will build creations each week in this STEM-themed class. Our team will provide weekly challenges that children will work to solve. Fun, engaging and one-of-a-kind! This is a ½ day camp offered from 9am-12pm. This specialty camp will remain at the Oscar Lasko YMCA throughout the camp day and will not travel to our Coatesville branch. These camps will not participate in swim or in house experiences and will offer a unique experience to bolster their summer.
