Meet Donna Watter

Donna Watter was hired in 1982 by the Brandywine YMCA to start a gymnastics program. In just one year the Gymcats gymnastics program was born. After 35 years of directing and coaching a program that she loved and having the benefit of so many amazing young girls come through her program, Donna retired in November 2017.

After two short years, Donna has returned to coach the sport that she loves in the program that she loves, and she is thrilled to be back! In 2022, the YMCA of Greater Brandywine and Oscar Lasko YMCA named their brand new gymnastics center the "Donna Watters Gymnastics Training Center" in her honor.

In her spare time Donna enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family and especially her 3 beautiful grandchildren.
