Pickleball is the sensation that has taken YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW) members by storm. With high interest in court time, we are excited to announce the opening of a dedicated indoor pickleball facility in the summer of 2023.

The YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown is an all-new state of the art facility featuring nine indoor pickleball courts. The facility will be open seven days per week, offering more than 80 hours of facility access with multiple open play sessions for various skill levels.

“We are excited to secure a dedicated space where pickleball enthusiasts can up their game,” shares Jackie Canan, Sr Director of Pickleball for the YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW). “With specifically designed pickleball courts and dedicated pickleball staff, the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown will provide an exceptional experience that our members have been asking for.”

To play at the YMCA Pickleball Center at Downingtown, you must purchase a Pickleball Center membership.

Pickleball Center Membership Includes

• Access to nine indoor courts featuring professional surfaces and lighting
• More than 80 hours of facility access each week - with multiple open play sessions for various skill levels and extended court reservation windows available 
• Support from dedicated pickleball staff to oversee courts and reservations
• Use of Pickleballs while you play – no need to bring your own
• One monthly Pickleball Center fee per person – without additional charges for open play*
• Discounted rates on lessons, clinics and special events 

To provide a positive member experience and manage demand for court time, Pickleball Center memberships will be sold in limited quantities. A limited presale opens to YGBW Members on April 3 at Noon. The presale opens to the community on April 17 at Noon.
