Eating Mindfully to Avoid the Quarantine 15

When students go to college for the first time, they’re often warned about the “freshman 15,” weight that seems to quickly come from nowhere.

Due to the pandemic, however, the “quarantine 15” is what’s been happening over the past month. Many people have reported that they’ve been grazing on food all day as a way to cope with stress. While eating may feel good in the moment, exercise and mindful eating are more beneficial than that extra bowl of ice cream.
