Meet the Bald Eagle

The symbol of our nation, the Bald Eagle, is known for its characteristic white feathered head. But, did you know that their head feathers are dark, mottled colors until they reach adulthood at 4-5 years? Once facing extinction, these birds have made a great comeback and can be found across the state.
