Y Naturalists will learn about native and invasive PA plants, how to create a native plant habitat, land stewardship, and more. Participants will spend time in our preserve with hands on learning and in the classroom. At the end of our 4 class series, participants will be empowered to use their knowledge in many kinds of spaces. Please dress for outdoor and classroom time. This program is for ages 18 and over only.
Watch your little one as they grow, learn, and explore the wonders of the natural world in this hands-on, sensory-based program. We'll use stories, songs, and short walks as a way to discover the sky above and the ground below. This program is designed for toddlers and their favorite grown-up - mom, dad, or grandparent.
Our Wildlife Explorers learn about caring for our environment and its many creatures through outdoor activities such as hikes through our nature preserve and canoeing on our pond. Students explore our natural environment and engage in projects to learn how to better protect our planet. Caring for animals on our farm and in our Nature Center gives our Wildlife Explorers a first-hand look at what makes each animal unique and important to our world. Archery and canoeing included.
