Learn lifting fundamentals for squats, deadlifts, and bench press including proper form and spotting techniques. Each week will focus on one main lift. The fourth week will be a culminating week for members to "show what they know" and "train the trainer". Upon successful completion, youth members will be added to a lifting clinic list.
Join us for this Mindfulness for Well-Being class to support your mental health and well-being. Key Mindfulness practices will be used to cultivate more self-awareness, reduce stress, and live with greater ease through this interactive weekly training. Basic breathing techniques, guided body scans, sitting and mindful movement guided meditations, and lessons that include supportive resources. All levels of experience with Mindfulness welcome.
This orientation is a prerequisite for all 7th grade memberships to review YMCA Rules and Expectations. Upon completion of this one-time orientation the member will receive their key-tag and YMCA privileges.
