Join our intermediate aquatic exercise class. Conducted primarily in waist to chest deep water, this class focuses on polymetric and resistance training. Members of all ages and experience are welcome!
Aqua Tai Chi is a variation on the ancient health practice from China that incorporates deep abdominal breathing with very slow meditative movements held in the water. Benefits include reduced stress, strengthened immune function, increased range of motion and stability, as well as an improved sense of well-being.
This class features low to moderate intensity water exercises designed to maintain and improve muscular strength and endurance as well as flexibility, balance and coordination. Designed for individuals experiencing mobility issues, joint pain, injuries, and/or other medical or physical limitations.
