I grew up in Central Western PA in an active household. I was taught at a young age the importance of staying active and healthy. I played sports in high school and ran Cross Country and Track at Saint Francis University in PA. After college, I began teaching group exercise classes and personal training. My life changed when I got married and became a stay-at-home mom of three boys. I took a brief hiatus from training and discovered what a huge role fitness played in my mental and physical well-being. As my boys grew, I began to reconnect to the fitness/sports scene.
I joined the team at the Brandywine YMCA in 2010 as a wellness coordinator. I teach several group exercise classes including Bootcamp, Body Pump, Body Combat, and classes in the CAN. As a personal trainer, I love to connect with my clients on a personal level and learn their goals to achieve an overall feeling of wellness. I Have a passion for coaching and enjoy Small Group Training, there's something special when a small group has similar goals and push each other to greatness!
I am eager to share my experience, knowledge and love for fitness with anyone who will give me the opportunity to make their life a little happier.
