Member Challenge: Back in Action at the Y

COVID has changed our lives in lots of ways and many of us have lost our regular workout routines. But now more than ever -- exercise is crucial. It boosts our immune systems, helps us sleep and assists in quelling the stress of the new reality we are all living within. With the colder weather and holidays coming, let your friends at the Y help you safely get back to your routine with our 28-day “Back in Action at the Y” Challenge. Stay motivated, connect with friends, get the support you need and win prizes! The Challenge begins on Tuesday, October 27 and runs through Tuesday, 11/24.

During the challenge, you'll earn points for working out at the Y and completing special bonus tasks--and you can win prizes including t-shirts and gift cards, while you get back to a healthy routine.

  • How to Earn Points: During the Challenge period (October 27-November 24), you earn one point for each daily workout you complete at the YMCA (a maximum of 7 points per week) and six points for each of the bonus tasks you complete while you’re at the Y. You can earn a maximum of 100 points during the challenge.
     
  • How to Win Prizes: Every Monday during the challenge, beginning on Monday, November 2, you enter the points you earned that week in the weekly drawing for a $25 Wawa gift card. Each point earns you one entry in the drawing. The more points, the better chance you have of winning! To ensure the safest experience possible, points will be submitted electronically by using the QR code posted in your branch each week. Look for it at the member services desk. Earn at least 85 points during the challenge and you win a special edition t-shirt!
