YMCA of Greater Brandywine is an association of eight YMCAs that offer life-changing programs for children, families and adults throughout Chester County.
Our Y is a diverse organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of kids, promote healthy living and foster a sense of social responsibility. We are an equal opportunity service provider.
Our membership is 80,000 strong from across Chester County. While our programs and facilities are always based on the unique needs and interests of our communities, our YMCAs have one thing in common: our people. The volunteers, staff, members and donors of the Y are all united by a deep commitment to strengthening Chester County. To ensure that everyone in our community can participate in Y programs, our volunteers raise funds for the Annual Campaign. The funds raised go directly back to our neighbors through YMCA Financial Assistance and subsidized programming.
To be a catalyst for improving the quality of life in our community.
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement

We welcome all people regardless of ability, age, background, ethnicity/race, faith, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation. The Y believes that, in a diverse world, we are stronger when we are inclusive, when our doors are open to all and when everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
